If you have just got your hands on eero device then you should know about eero app. Before you begin enjoying your eero network, you should install it first. To install eero network, you must download eero app on your smartphone. The app helps you set up and manage the network with convenience.

1st Step: Download eero App
The app is free for all users. You can find it on the App Store as well as the Play Store. Download the app as per the OS of your smartphone.
2nd Step: Add Info About Your Home
The eero app suggests the ideal location for eero devices in the home. When you launch the app for the very first time, it will prompt you to provide more information about your home. Depending on the provided information, you will get suggestions for optimum places for eero devices. Know that these are just suggestions, you can choose to opt or deny the suggestions as per your requirements.
3rd Step: Create eero Account
The next step is to create an eero account to begin with eero WiFi mesh setup. Do this to create an account:
- Type your email address and phone number in the provided fields.
- A verification code will be sent to your email address.
- You can choose to receive the code via SMS.
- Insert the code on the verification screen on the app.
- Create your eero account.
4th Step: Configure eero Network
You can now set up your eero network through the app.
- Log in to the app using the email address and password you created.
- Power off the internet modem for a while.
- With the help of an Ethernet cable, link the modem and the eero gateway.
- You can now power on the modem.
- Connect the power adapter to the eero gateway and plug in the other end to a socket. Supply power to it.
- The app searches for eero devices.
- The light flashes blue when eero is located.
- Create a network by assigning an SSID and password.
- You can add more eeros to the network next.
- You have configured the network using the app.
The same app lets you manage your network and its settings can be changed easily. Just log in to the app and go to the desired setting that you wish to change. This is for your general information that eero app for PC is not available. You only have to use your phone. However, the app is available for iPads and Tablets.
The app is organized into 4 tabs:
- Home
- Activity
- Discover
- Settings
You can navigate between the tabs from the bottom of the screen. As soon as you log in, you reach the Home tab. You can view connectivity status, add new eeros, create and provide guest network access, create and manage profiles and do much more.
What to Do If eero App is Not Working?
In case the app is giving you trouble during or after eero setup, then try these solutions:
- Force close the app and try to launch it once again.
- Restart your phone on which the app is installed.
- Check the internet connection on the phone.
- Log out of the account and try logging in again.
- Check for updates for the app in the App Store or Play Store.
- Uninstall and reinstall the app.
